United Real Estate, a fast-growing urban centric real estate and franchise operation company, recently announced the appointment of Orlando Pedrero to the position of Director of Franchise Development. He will manage the sales process of franchises to real estate brokers in select urban markets. These brokers will then operate their companies as branded United Real Estate offices in protected territories.

“We’re excited to hire a talented professional who fits our company culture like Orlando,” said Dan Duffy, chief executive officer of United Real Estate. “His in-depth knowledge of the industry and the competitive landscape provide an invaluable resource to real estate brokers who are seeking a viable solution on how to grow their business. Orlando has an exceptional aptitude for building successful business networks. This wealth of knowledge and experience makes him uniquely qualified to aid the management team of United Real Estate in executing its aggressive growth plans.”

Before joining United Real Estate, Pedrero was the president of Intelligent Answers® Consulting Group, where he served as acting executive vice president for Realty World Inc. His successful experience in real estate franchise development includes working with some of the top real estate brands in the world. He has been recognized as a top franchise sales director at RE/MAX International and was a member of the Realogy management team, which won the Chairman’s Award for franchise sales. He was responsible for managing the successful growth of their largest brands: Coldwell Banker, Century 21 and ERA.

“Through the years, I've served in senior leadership positions with and consulted top executives of the leading real estate brands, and I am convinced United Real Estate is the new real estate evolution,” said Pedrero. “There are new needs and challenges faced by modern real estate broker/owners and agents in the post-recession urban centers that the existing real estate models don’t answer. Like a square peg being forced in a round hole. United Real Estate is changing the real estate franchise model nationwide and making real estate profitable again, without the brokers and agents having to compromise on service, tools or technology.”

Pedrero will be working closely with Peter Giese, president of United Real Estate, to develop plans that identify best-market candidates in each urban center.

“Orlando’s role is essential to the success of United Real Estate’s growth across the U.S.,” Giese said. “His vast knowledge and experience will help articulate the United value proposition and ensure we align with the correct local partners who want to take advantage of our unique selling proposition and rapidly grow a successful real estate company in their local markets.”
